My Story
I was born and raised in Florida and have always liked understanding how things work underneath the surface. That interest eventually turned into a strong pull toward technology because modern life depends on systems that are designed well, maintained carefully, and secured properly.
During my senior year of high school, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. That experience shaped how I approach work: be dependable, stay disciplined, pay attention to detail, and document clearly enough that the next person can follow what happened.
At UCF, I chose Information Technology because I wanted a path that was hands-on and practical. I enjoy technical work that lets me build something real, validate it, troubleshoot it when it fails, and explain the solution clearly afterward. That is why my portfolio includes network labs, Java programming, Linux administration, a repurposed home lab server, and a long-term OCR digitization project.
Long term, I want to build a career in technical roles where strong troubleshooting, systems thinking, and steady execution matter. The work that interests me most sits around IT support, infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and security-focused operations.
